It’s a great honour to be invited to show my work in Kyoto, a beautiful city that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting once before, a magical and for me quite mysterious place. Even as my illustrations and stories have grown far from Japanese soil, I like to think that there is a deeper language of ideas, feelings, humor and strange dreams that draws from the same roots. Well, only gallery visitors will really know! Many thanks to everyone who has supported this exhibition, and to the passionate readers of Japan.

京都は僕自身一度訪れたことがある魅力的な美しい街です。僕にとっては神秘的な街でもあり、そこで展覧会を開催出来たことは光栄です。僕のイラストレーションやストーリーは日本から遠く離れた土地で生まれましたが、発想、感覚、ユーモアセンス、不思議な夢のような部分は、深いところで日本と同じ場所に根ざしていると思いたいです。どうでしょうか。実際に来場して頂いた方々の判断にお任せしますね！今回の展示会にご協力頂いた方々と日本の熱心な読者の皆さんに感謝の気持ちをこめて。
